To spa or not to spa…that is the question!

Should skin care treatments be considered necessity or luxury? During challenging economic times we have a tendency to tighten the belt, and take a hard look at the budget to quickly determine what is necessary versus those items that are dispensable. Before you move your spa treatments to the luxury column, consider the benefits a skin care service can deliver to your total well-being.

Facials or Skin Treatments use a host of techniques and substances like: aromatherapy, lymphatic drainage, exfoliation treatments and acupressure. Using these ancient therapies one will experience:

  1. Regulation of the immune system.
  2. Detoxification.
  3. Reduction of fluid built up in the body.
  4. Stress Relief.
  5. Increased blood circulation.
  6. Relaxation of facial muscles which can slow the onset of wrinkles.
  7. Renewal of skin cells.
  8. Reduction of puffiness and sagging in the face.
  9. Improvement of a dull, lackluster complexion.
  10. Management of acne, hyper pigmentation, rosacea and other skin disorders.

Regular skin treatments can help with skin challenges and offer many health benefits. Geletha Darter- Skin Therapist in Pittsburg, PA says, “The skin you invest in today will be the skin you inherit tomorrow.”
